you need to use the pc interface and select the 528 and load it into your speedy, when you have the v1.37 you are able select all the different software
Does it apply boost/ turbo in a different way or something |

Understand that, what advantage is going back to 528 in the settings?

which software is more aggressive (punchy) the 323 or the 528 for stock 17.5?

the 323 software is good, but we are having issues with getting the top speed out of the cars to match Tekin speedy, LRP motor combos. but we got there on teh weekend. it came with the 528 software. the 323 is fast, we can get it to match, but it is not stable after the 4 min mark. to get the speed and temp , it really is a comprimise. both the 323 and 528 software has good punch, but have found to get the speed from 323, the settings need to be quite high on everything, and there is just some lag in between also waiting for the cars to ramp up out of a slower corner . increasing FDR fixes this, but then we have no speed on the straight. |

I would like to share about what Paul mentioned between 528 and 323.
528 is the previous version of Supercharger/timing version of 323 software. 323 is more like a "DEFINED" version of the 528....323 start adding more detailed timing/boost adjustment and adding more OPTIONS to adjust that area.....the overall power output are very much alike. However, when 323 can give you more detailed option about the adjustment, if the track is considered small to medium size, this will be the advantage because your throttle on/off position will be more often then a large open track condition. When you apply on/off throttle more often, and the frequency are more and less time, these extra ADJUSTMENT will be beneficial. However, when you are running on a airport size of a track(large track)....you are using less throttle on/off because you are mostly on 75% to 100% position....your timing/boost will be on ON or almost ON position at alot of time and these fine adjustment will has LESS CHANCE to be use because you are using 100% full power most of the time. This is how Peter found out the PRE-SET kinda version like 528 will simplied a lot of guessing and the pre-set feature will deliver a better full throttle power then the very defined/detailed 323. To make it simple...if you are on FULL THROTTLE 50% of the time (hugh track) vs 25% of the time (small medium track)....all those fine adjustment in the middle are really useless because your throttle is on FULL ON MODE most of the time...just let the boost/time open immediately instead of going thru all those steps/process and then full open... LESS is more....on some cases. And I have a feeling the 528 might be beneficial at TITC, I considered is a pretty large track for electric TC. http://3hobby.net/images/eventlist/e...1319654137.jpg |

Paul.....mine if you can share your 13.5 and 528 setup here..? I would like to keep that so I can support here in Thailand TITC. I've got a feeling I will have alot of ppl standing next to me and ask for setup. TITC track probably is NOT as big as your 1/8th track but it is a world track for 200mm ISTC....so it is considered LARGE for electric TC 190mm.
Please share gearing, timing sensor location at end bell, then all the 528 setting parameter....10000 thanks....Howard i would feel settings be similar, but gearing may change. End bell - full retard , black (std timing board) S411 (2.0 internal) FDR - 4.0 drag brake - 0 low voltage cut off- none DRRS - 9 brake force - 75% nuetral range - 6 (narrow) AMTS timing- MAX over heat - on supercharger boost level - 7 RPM Delay - 5000 Full throttle delay - off supercharger punch - -1 Temps with 17.5 were very stable and never went over 70C after 6 mins. we ran one pack down past cutt off, and temp was maybe 76C but grip was huge, and it was about a 8 min run. we took off the dual fans and heatsink, and run one 25mm high speed fan taped to the chassis behind the motor (rear of car) and everything worked flawless. 6 min run, we can still go higher on SC punch, and SC boost level. but was no need on sunday, we proved it works. for 13.5 you may want to try somewhere around a 4.6 FDR and see what temps are like. if its still winding out on straight, then drop to maybe 5 . i really hope this helps you out Howard, and all the guys running SP at the TITC. Best of luck. |
I used to run V3 5.5 for tc with GT2.1 pro stock and 323stock firmware
I'm about to use the 1s 5.5 motor. Should I make any changes to esc settings? |

Not for Reventon S and R, only will work on Reventon PRO. However, I will go find out does the S and R will work with some specific power booster. |
