Adam, 1) did you get a head count at vegas concerning 'booster vs rec pack' ?

2) Has anyone had issues with mechanical timing adjustment on the new V3 motors?
I picked up a 17.5 that came from Vegas.....just touchin', playing with the new jewel and noticed that the sensor plug would not turn past center to the advanced side. I did some investigating and found that the sensor was indeed hitting/rubbing against the stator windings!
The motor was not used at all...not soldered in or even bolted in yet, as new, in the package as it gets!

This could help explain some of my sensor failures.....impact causing the winding to slap the sensor board!

Just what I found....looking forward to runnin the 13.5 version when it gets here

Is it the general finding , now, with adjustable timining on the can, that for 17.5 it is better to crank can and esc timing up and gear down a bit to keep temps in check? Or is it still gear to the moon and play with timing on the esc to gain top end and keep temps in check?

that's better than 14AWG
12 AWG is lower resistance than 14 AWG.
but you would also get more heavier with that wire, due to more weight,
when comparing to the same wire length.

For stock motors, I run 14 AWG. But to the battery its still 12AWG.
