Hi there,

I was wondering if I can obtain a GT 2.0 housing replacement any where or from SP themselves? Mine's held together with tape ATM coz I was too harsh on the clips.

Thanks

Can you contact the Australia SP distributor? They should have some...

Solara. i have a question regarding the much more racing thermoelectric motor cooler. here the temps are getting hot weather can these be used on brushless motors at all to cool them rite down before your race ?

or does anyone use these at all on the brushless motors

I personally never seen anyone did that since the brushed motor period......and I know if that works, other will do that long time ago. But so far, no one use those MM freezer thing on the BL motor....at least not here in mid-west when we have snow now...lol

mattwoodcraft 12-05-2011 10:19 AM

kool, i was wondering whether i should get one to try in the hotter parts of the year the ambiant temp of the motor sits around 30-35 degrees.
atleast you didnt say not a good idea
hope it turns up next week befor i go racing

The coolers will work fine, if you don't mind a little condensation (water) on your sensor/circuit boards.

Oh, wait, in the early days of brushless, "they" said never use them! Now what to do?

I was after a opinion as to weather or not i will notice any improvment in punch or top speed in running the cirtix club race esc V's the SP 2.1 ProStock in blinky mode, all other things unchanged, 17.5 turn TC

mattwoodcraft 12-05-2011 03:10 PM

would the amp draw between the 2 be different maybe you would get more punch using the GT2.1 out of corners

Can anyone at Speedpassion please assist me? I need a RMA number issued for my defective motor, and I was doing online chatting with their tech support, after chatting for a while and the tech support just stopped responding even though his status is showing online.

Tried calling the USA toll free number and it tells me to press 0, and it went no where.

TIA,
Ron

Sorry, that 1st batch of the ESC is almost like 2 years old. You can try contact your Australia distributor and see they are willing to offer you a discounted upgrade (no garrantee they would). There will be no update on that ESC.
