(1) make sure your track is running NO TIMING software or not...I find it odd that your track require you to run a FULL BOOST (full timing and supercharger) software called 528....528 is OPEN software, no longer a STOCK software. Please make sure they are referring to 508_no_timing or actually 528 stock. Big different...

(2) Multi-programmer card cannot be used to update software. You need the LCD programmer card that connect to the computer and then upload the correct software onto your GT2.1

I really like the 2.1EX and 17.5 1 cell I recently picked up, but wow, that LCD box feels flimsy. Screws on the corners cracking the plexiglass cover, carbon fiber sticker falling off, buttons want to fall out, mainboard rattles around so much you have to shake it to align all the ports to plug something in. It's a functional piece of kit... just wish it was as quality as the rest of SP's products.

Looking for advice on a Cirtix Stock Club 21.5 system. Just got this setup in a VTA car I bought. It was used once before I got my mitts on it and it ran perfectly.

I took it for a few easy test laps this past weekend and pulled the car for some chassis tuning. When I tried to get it fired up again later, the ESC was beeping like it was waiting for Tx setup, so I did that. Nothing.

When I got the car on my bench at home I checked for broken wires, a bad receiver and checked with a few different batteries. What I'm noticing is that the yellow light that normally turns off when the throttle is pressed, doesn't.

So, I know the signal is getting from the radio to the receiver. I know the wires from receiver to ESC are good. I know the wires from the ESC to the motor are good.

I've got a program box on the way to see if maybe some setting got screwed up somehow. Would this still be covered by any kind of warranty? It's got less than 30 minutes on it and is about 8 months since purchase.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Could someone tell me the difference between the Stock Club Race esc and the Short Course Master esc. I have read good things about the Stock Club but I'm not able to find much for the Short Course Master. Is the Short Course Master legal for stock racing? I'm looking at the combos for both w/17.5 motor.

Any info would be helpful!

No...it is not, you have to have the LCD programmer and need to upload the 508 onto your ESC. See your local hobby shop has one and can give you a hand.
