I'm just finding that no matter what settings I run the speedo/software is still wayy too aggressive in comparison to others.

Drove a car with a tekin (my first time) not long back and how smooth it was combined with how early I could get on the throttle very nearly made me wanna change speedos.

By comparison i'm having to compensate by being smoother with the throttle on the handset with the speed passion, losing out time to others who can hit full whack sooner.

Pretty wild that one can make a stock hard to drive eh?

We run offroad so are particularly sensitive to this. We’ve had good success in taming it when needed by adjusting the supercharger punch. When tractions allows it’s great to have the superior punch for jumps though.

It's not supposed to rotate unless the screws are loose. In fact even with the screws loose I have a hard time adjusting the timing.

M-Technic, any idea why my is really looose. The can screws are tight. I must be missing a part or something. I know that there is the two sillicone gaskets, the timing plate itself, the can cover and the 3 bolts. Any other parts supposed to be there? Any certain way for assembly?

The motor you have must be a very early batch of V3 motor. The newer batch does not have that problem. I do aware this situation only from the motor from early last year (2009).

You need a replacement sensor unit holder like this one.

if your racing in a spec class i dont think its legal to run a different rotor than stock

I gots a Speed Passion GT 2.0 for sale with USB Programmer

Switched chassis and now i cant fit the speedo no more...

Great ESC can easily keep up with Tekins O.o
Hate to switch speedos but Space wise it needs to go O.o

i never think a toy,
those are a real scaled car, that no car yet ever available of this technology.
Infact f1 gp follow our world rc implementing ep power for more torque, during acceleration and corners.
And the first research, on Dynamic timing, born
at rc ep.
And some day implemented on full scaled cars.

i have a strange problem with the 528 software.
if i download the newest software with 528 and open the software its there.
if i close the desktop icone and open it again and the 528 is gone again:confused:
any ideas
