With the 100422 software and 10* timing SP17.5v3 motor always came off at 170 to 180. Now with 100528 software and 10* timing the motor comes off at 130 to 140. With 100528 and 10* supplies so much better power band, low, middle and high.
100528 is preforming great on the track for me.

Use the HW software on the HW hardware, I *think* 518 is the newest HW version.

Hi friends,

Need help on this. Currently using 422 with Team Powers 11.5T and motor timing at 0. I'm racing in 2 tracks, small track with 60feets straight and big track with 150feets straight line. Both semi technical.

Current Setting: Small Track
Ratio 7.25 (Temp 110F)
9=7
12=8
13=4
14=5
15=4

Ratio 7.25 (Temp 120F)
9=7
12=9
13=4
14=5
15=3

Ratio 8.40 (Temp 140F) (setting is quite extreme but why out corner slower compare above ratio??)
9=7
12=9
13=1
14=2
15=2

I need help on setting for both above ratio for small track to lower down temp. Now playing night not day time. Outside temp 38C.

Also this Big Track (never try yet but will play day time temp 50-60C)
Ratio 6.94
9=?
12=?
13=?
14=?
15=?
Ration 6.65
9=?
12=?
13=?
14=?
15=?

Thanks..

This is fine.

This is also Fine.

One thing you have to realize is that this software like lower gear ratios. I think if you kept the 7.2 ratio, you will find plenty of out of the corner rip and straight line acceleration. Another thing you have to consider is that an 11T motor WILL have a lot of natural RIP out of the corners, so no need to assist it with gearing. Some of the Speedpassion Testers in HK have tested 11T motors with the same gear ratio as a 17.5. You will find, although not always the same, gearing can be pretty much left alone in most conditions and just control the settings through the esc. I have used the same gear ratio for my 17.5 in both tracks with a 70' straight and 170' straight. I just changed boost , delay, and punch.

I need help on setting for both above ratio for small track to lower down temp. Now playing night not day time. Outside temp 38C.

Also this Big Track (never try yet but will play day time temp 50-60C)
Ratio 6.5
9=8
12=9
13=4
14=5
15=3

Ratio 6.5
9=7
12=9
13=5
14=5
15=4

Thanks..
Try those settings and adjust accordingly to how it feels to you. You should not have any problems. Good Luck.

It's a little tricky, the update file that has 528 is under the 2.1 ESC, not under the LCD box.

Hi Chaps

Starting to give 10.5 a go, after running modified for a while....

I could do with a starting point on settings for a track straight length of 55metres.

Its a little technical

528 firmware.

Thanks for your time

Steven

Thanks bro, I will try but any idea on the 6.65 ratio? I don't have pinion to set it to 6.5.

I still need help on the setting for 8.40 ratio for the small track. Pls advise on it.

Anyway all my friends going to upgrade 11.5t to 10.5t soon. They have ordered Tekin Redline Motor 10.5T as a lot of them are using Tekin RS Pro only 3 of us using SP.

Myself still thinking to buy either Tekin 10.5T or Novak Ballistic 10.5T. Tekin has high Kv4500 but Ballistic only 3800Kv (same as SP 10.5T but I love Ballistic colour). Which one is faster and better?

Pls advise on this. Thanks..

I am not following you. I downloaded the software from the 2.1 esc section but when I write over the files I don't see the 528 in the upgrade section. I have a 2.0 LPf and was told software was compatible with both

if your running windows 7, you need to run the program as admin to get it to overwrite.

the new software does work with the lpf,

this is where we miss Adam, he was very good at explaining these sorts of things. I wish I could explain it in full detail.

This could be the case, I use w7, but I have the UAC turned down. Click start, in the search bar, type UAC, drag the slider to the bottom, you will probably need to reboot for it to take full effect. I rarely have to run programs as admin now. (this is assuming your ID is already an admin).

I know this has probably been asked before but I couldn't find anything on it. I installed 422 on a LPF and it will work fine sometimes and sometimes it will only run about 1/3 throttle no SC or timing at all. I have flashed the ESC several times and it will still do it. Turn off the power and turn it back on and it's fine. It mat only do it once a day and sometimes not at all. My other LPF has been fine no issues what so ever.
