You can use brushless motors on a wet track without the senors, the GT2.0 will run in unsensored mode :D

I still have one GT1 and two GT 1.1 version and they are still working fawlessly, they are purchased since they released...touch wood. (No, I have not use the brushed motor more nor I am willing to, I have plenty of GTX and QC2 laying around for brushed motor or silver can...)

i get that horrible thing on 3 wire that you meant.
while brushed wiring 3 wire work's on no reverse, but still verry potential,
i am not sayin how it's appearance, but
constant 600A is great and max2400A was Outstanding! , ... well that's what i know.
anyway there's also other method like, 2 wires to + and 1 wire to -
wich still a very good to working reversible with
constant 400A and max 1600A Forward,

and i think is, what a waste for such great ESC which could not do that.
while i believe GT2.0 will need no more weight than now to do that, just the program/firmware.

I'm to lazy to look back 4 pages to see what motor your running:lol:

If i remember correctly your either running a 13.5 or 10.5 and in the case of either of those motors there is going to be ZERO difference between the 2 ESC's. So i would go with the LPF to save $40.00

How do I actually change my software to the other one? At the moment I m using 323 and I wanted to change to 312 or 205, just to try it out but whenever I press the upgrade button another pop up windows come up saying software 323 cannot be upgraded to 312...

I'm not 100% on the rollout target your going to need, from what I've seen on 17.5 your rollout should be between 85-95mm

Maybe someone can chime in and give you a hand here?

Shoot for a 76 mm rollout with the timing all the way up in the esc. I like punch profile 6. Depending on tire size your p/s combo will be around a 76/38.

See that !, older version will be working anyhow by upgrading
that's why GT2.0 Will work's on "CAR_ESC ADVANCE"
which had "motor type"
dameetz can you try switch GT2.0 with Brushed ? but be careful with motor wiring.

IRGO, this is getting annoying. Your language skills seem to be impeding your understanding. The 2.0 will not run a brushed motor. The people you quoted are talking about software updates that have nothing to do with brushed motors. Please drop it.

CAR_ESC HW407_V2.0
CAR_ESC HW419_V1.0
CAR_ESC HW427_V1.0
CAR_ESC HW429_V1.0
