Yeah, I've been debating this... it is a pretty tight fit, and the speedo is pretty far off the edge of the chassis. Aslo, if I put the heatsink on, there isn't a huge amount of clearance, certainly not enough for the pins too pull out fully from the holes.
For now, I'll run it as is, and if it does come apart, then figure out how to keep them together, without resorting to super glue :p Ed |

shoogoo should also do a a good job holding it together and can be removed pretty easy.

The old standby has always been heat shrink tubing. You can get it in any size you want if you look around. Some LHS used to carry bigger sizes to cover sub-c cells and complete packs.

Timing Sensor
I have 17.5 V3 speedpassion...my Timing sensor plug in the motor got damaged..
Question about the V3 speedpassion motor sensor,17.5 are the same sensor as others? Will the mod V3 sensor works in my 17.5motor ? |

TryHard seems to be having good luck with 4 cell nimh with the 107 and 110? He described his results back a couple pages.... |
Hi All, Would any one know the optimal temperature range for the "Competition 3.0 - 17.5R"? I installed the new stock software over the weekend and was getting temps around the 85C mark. This was running without a heat sink or fan. Which I'm going to install for next meeting. But if someone says that the temp is fine then I wont bother.
Thanks in Advance. |
Can someone suggest a starting roll-out for my SP Competition 3.0 10.5R in 1s World GT? Track would probably be described as a regular size carpet track. Oh yeah, speedo is a regular old sphere TC spec. Thanks
Cheers Daniel |

what about the timing on the motor?leave it in the middle settings?
thanx ps: 4.8 final drive in a small track like that? Here is the thing you need to try.....your 7.7 final is WAY OFF...try 4.8 with your motor timing (the timing on your phyical motor) set to the middle...then keep gearing up untill you like the speed. I know the V3 13.5 ran alot cooler then any other 13.5 so gearing up is not a problem. But if your track is REALLY tight (you never say how small is your track...) gearing up does not makes your any faster...you need punch and corner speeds.... |

Thanks in Advance. I would suggest dropping a few teeth or look at reducing some timing. I wouldnt go higher than 70deg and for me my motors run nothing higher than 65 deg. |
quick question, does the gt2.0 lpf come with a programmer? i recieved mine today w/o one
