well, elliot harper has been hot with the xray of late, and it appears that chris grainger had him pretty well covered two weeks ago.

outside of that, i don't think we'll know more until the car hits the shelves.

Is there any pics with electronics in the car?

I want to see how everything fits:D

Elliot crashed in one final. Once Chris got away though he couldn't get back.
Elliot also had the fastest Mod lap of the day, the only sub-15sec lap. ;)

This year will be very interesting....

They will be there again on Sunday for the national warmup, then the full 2-day national will take place next weekend (i'll be in Pro-stock...I know my level :D)

The results will be on the link hopefully a few hours after Sunday's racing finishes;

http://www.wlrc.co.uk

The main UK results site is;
http://www.centralbooking.org/cbs/in...d=8&Itemid=109

Look under BRCA for the results from previous years at the moment.

Thanks for the pics!:D

Looks like theres room for everything to fit nicely!

Why do you have O-rings under the ball cups? To get rid of slop? Different belts, different front pulley, or are those proto parts?

Mike Haynes 05-13-2009 05:55 PM

Yea the orings get rid of slop nicely. The belts are the grey mi2 ones, i prefer the way they feel. The pulley happens to be dyed black, it is a 35tooth. Yes the electronics have plenty of room, it is all just trown in as i have been swapping chassis during testing and haven't taken the time to neaten it up yet.

Huh, never heard of O-ring's there to get rid of slop. Some local guys put a long rubberband from there right to left knuckle to get rid of steering slop, but thats about it

Haha, I did the same on my Cat SX, dyed all the white stuff black, works well, looks great:D

It looks like a FASST RX will fit in there just fine. But batts with bullet plugs will hit the upper deck wont they? Or is there enough room to squeeze it under there? Or do you have to have it hanging off the chassis?

We always ran those on our Losi's. I havent put them on my TC5's but if they dont sell i'll be putting orings on them also. I need them to sell so I can buy 2 Mi4's. :nod:

It depend son how they sit in the pack, but i would think the back should have enough room under the upper deck.

Jerry you better get those on the for sale section, your gonna need to have that mi4 on order real soon;)

They'll be going up tomorrow. My leg is finally feeling good enough to unpack some of my RC stuff. I'll take pics and post them in the trader tomorrow. I also have a XXX4 G+ to sell now that I have my Cat SX. I'll be going Schui all the way. I just need that 2wd buggy to come out soon.. :cool:

Mike,
What's up with the 12 Squares of added weight ;)

Car looks good, We use to put O-rings under the call cups to get rid of slop back when the 99 pro was out. Glad to see people still do it :nod:
