Having never ran a car with the servo mounted like a bd-5/416
I'd like to know why some people have the servo arm directly upwards and some people have it at around a 20° pointing towards the car?
Any reason or advantage for this?

If it's set wrong, when you turn your dual rate down, say 100% to 90%, then your car may start to turn more sharper to the left than the right. Turn it down even more from 90% to 80%, and your car turns sharper even more left to right. Etc, etc.
It's a part of radio/servo/steering adjustment and setup that most people overlook. If you follow the instructions, you should be setup pretty close. For the BD5, you should be set with the arm angled towards center, NOT straight up.
It's a little hard to explain, but I hope this helps.

Awesome fast shipping Elwyn! Didn't think I'd get the battery in time to run Saturday. But it's here! Thanks!

Hey Jimmy, I guess that you will be unloading some major hp tommorow since you got that new battery. I think that I figured out what my why my car felt flat. I was only running 100% throttle on the radio, I cranked it to the max so hopefully that was the problem.

Actually, the only reason I bought new packs was because my TP pack got damaged a few weeks ago in a wreck. The pack swells a little bit now. So there is no way I'd sell it to anyone. However, the TP pack still cycles awesome. Better than both my new packs. But we'll see how they perform tomorrow. Catch ya then.

No, I didn't get a chance to. I stayed up all night studying for a test. Then over slept and missed the race. But I'll be testing it out today in a parking lot track that usually has a tight and technical layout. However, I'm not only running 42mm blocks... I'm also running 8mm center link and 3.5 upper link up front. I'll let ya know how it goes.

GM-GENIUS 120-YOKOMO BD-5
Hi martin I just bought a genius gm esc 120, with the last update and I'd like every day at any configuration as a starting point, I will use it with lipos and a passion spedd v3 5.5t engine, the drive is new, you have to make some modification for use with lipos, will have no problems installing it on my bd-5 greetings
