The BD5 is stock with steel driveshaft and the same options than every body (spool, steel spool outdrive, body mount, Anti roll bar mount, etc)

Are you using some light weight parts? I know the titanium screw set but are there other parts to make the car lightest?
I tryed with your electronic switching my esc and with different Lipo brands and Sorex36 my weight is 1372.
May be titanium screws help but i have no idea how many grams you can gain, i builded my car directly with the titanium screws.
May be the lipo make the difference, what i use (5000 o 5500mAh) are about between 278 to 290g.

Last weekend my car was 1352 with 90g of leadweight so definatley underweight.

use a Balldiff in any class that is not "0-timing-stock"! Much better to drive and faster. On the track I raced at the past weekend difference between ball and gear diff was 2/10 per lap! even though feeling was similar.
Geardiff 12.02, Balldiff 11.77!

Does anyone know the part number for the sway bar and associated parts used in the rear sway bar of this car? I believe it is from an older model yokomo.

I believe Ronald Volker uses the same item.

Thanks

tightnes of the balldiff:

I always sand diff and thrustbearing plates with 2000grit sandpaper to get really smooth operation.

I then slowly lock the diff untill the screw tightens up, then I open it up by half a turn
that's the basic setting. works 99% or times
If it is not yet locked enough, tighten it by small steps but make sure to always give it a few turns so the groove can work out.

The end result is a diff that if you hold one wheel and the spurgear can make the belt skip a tooth before the diff slips!

as for geardiff.
I found something around the 800 shockoil range to be what feels like a balldiff. I always fill the geardiff up completely and then slowly put the cover onto it. the excessive oil will come out of the screws holes.

I actually do have a youtube account but I most likely will just do a photo tutorial of how to build a ball diff the proper way :-)

That would be awesome Martin. The Jille's videos were really helpful when I ran my Tamiya 416.
