Honestly that would line up with their previous costs. I have 2 Much more silent Platinums for $150 each at the time, as well as 2 power supplies at another ~$110 each. I don't know how many amps the Legend is, but my guess 25-30 amps for each PS, as the silkscreening on the Legend states its a dual 12v PS.

Default Summary on Legend charger and power supply

Hello,

Cell Master Legend charger has
pros of Cell Master and Silent charger + alpha
so it will be able to charge
Super linear (just like what Cell master does)
Ni-Mh and NiCd (just like what Silent charger does)
and Lithium batteries such as polimer,Fe, Mn

Here's quick specifications on Legend charger

There are two ports in front of the charger:
Left: Built-in balancing port for Li-po.
Right: Temp probe(included) or I/O port for seperately available 40A discharger and Cell equalizing charging tray.

2 keys(forward and backward) and a wheel(just as your mouse) for increment or decrement

Output control pins just as Cell Mastert to control seperately available fans, batt warmer.

Banana jacks for docking system can be removed by 1.5mm allen wrench.

No big sound on fans-silent operation.

Legend power has
two power supplies are(20A) inside with LCD monitor.

4 outputs on back
1 output on front
one usb port on right side.

I will update with more news before we release the products.

Ryan

I'd rather have a charger that just does it's job well, and not pay for the name or how it looks.

I'm sure a lot of R+D has gone into all their products, but no way will I ever justify the cost of the Much More stuff...

If I wanted to spend a lot of money and have a really, really nice looking pit area, i'd get some of their products.

For some, r/c is a REAL passion for spending big amounts of money, but why? I'd rather spend my money on the more practical things in life, like my mortgage, wife and son.

You don't NEED an expensive charger to race well, neither will you need one in the future, adding to the fact that the bigger the cost of something, the bigger loss you'll have if you sell the stuff on.

just my 0.2$, i'm sure some will want to disagree. I'm just a practical minded guy who likes the more simple designs, over how something looks or the 1001 options that come with something

Will there be a Lipo cutoff voltage setting programmable to .01V?

Meaning....will we be able to set the cutoff to 8.44V or are we limited to 8.40V?

The underneath connectivity is great and the front and rear connections make it very versatile. However they lost me with the chrome accents. I bet Upgrade is working on skins right now to help remedy the chromed out appearance.

I don't think there will be a wrap to cover the chromed parts. Other wraps go around the bezel. I would disassemble it and paint it the surrounding color.

My guess is if they got it down to $400 they would sell like hotcakes (even though $400 is way too much for a PS and 2 chargers). $650 in this economy is going to be a tough sale. Im sure we will see some knock-offs shortly follow at more affordable prices.

I wonder if MuchMore is going to release a tire warmer control to replace one of the chargers with?

Im sure Costmore will have something else you can add there if you only use 1 charger....maybe that 40amp discharge thing they were talking about....if they dont then the world is coming to an end as we know it.... With this new setup it wouldnt be hard to have over 1000 dollars in useful but expensive Muchmore-money products....throw in a tire warmer...and battery warmer....a discharger.....man are we sure that Costmore isnt run by some Evil mastermind looking to take over the world off the backs of RC car color matching freaks????
