I think all that was all rumors and gossip from unknown sources!
Last heard no front diff and no 415 tub chassis. But if they did make one I would deffinitely buy one!!!!!
Tamiya is trying to focus interest on the TB02 chassis. If looks could kill this would be a TA04 GT-2 killer.
Saw one at the Tamiya facility and I'm impressed! Don't know if it can really perform yet? Has anybody ran the TB02 in any TCS races? If so , how did it do up against the TA04 chassis? Inquiring minds want to know!

What I meant was the TB02-R. Lots of hop-ups and some new composite parts too!
See the link! http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=49348

Default King of GT-2

I know this is not the right thread to do this on, just one final note. the TB02-R chassis I saw had a lot of extras. I mean a lot including blue anodized everything a titianium etc.etc.etc. front and rear Evo shock towers just to name a few!

I think we will have 415-based TA-05 soon, if that's the name.

Will see if my LHS has the magazine. If they did, high-res for sure...

The Tamiya track will be open this weekend (barring rain of course) but please keep in mind that it will be closed next weekend because of TamiyaCon. Also, I believe that the track will close down until the Reedy Race a week or two after TamiyaCon.

Tamiyas are cool. I eve pronounce it right now. TamEEya......

I would definately get a 415 based GT2 car. As long as it has 04 pitch gears and not locked ratios like the TB02.

But-I now see why all you guys buy 2or more different versions of Tamiya cars and dont sell any of them. Due to the TCS rules being so stringent-and yet loose-its very possible that on a given day, track, length of stright, motor choice-a TA04 could be much faster than a tb02 or vise-versa. I dont see this as an issue in GT1 class though.
