Looks twin belt drive to me, cannot tell properly from them pics though. Looks like the front belt rises up towards the top of the car in the pics. Also IMHO if it was to be a single belt the rear diff would be offset the other way to get the motor closer to the center line. Rick

It depends on which picture you are looking at. The one posted here looks like 1 belt, the one in the magazine looks like 2 belts.

It's definitely a two belts car if you look at the magasine picture. Have a look at the bottom right picture (side view of the car), the front belt goes to the center pulley, which are rather big.

Plus, the two diffs (or front one way rear diff) are not in line, which is needed for a 1 belt car.

The first photo is not the 415, looks more like the koysho. Plus the motor is on the right hand side of the car on that picture...

It bugs the @!)&%# out of me that Tamiya doesn't provide ANY official coverage in the USA of the TRF goings-on. If it were not for boards like this one there would be ZERO cutting edge TRF info in the USA.

That was my first though too. But Tamiya has decided to move the motor higher in the chassis then the Corally, so there's no huge cutout under the motor which should make the chassis more rigid. The best thing though:

mabe its because its still a prototype and that why there using the tc3 wishbones/hubs.
maybe there gonna re-design there similar to the tc3 ones but dont want the cost of molds if it doesnt work?
