The arms are still prototypes and they will more than likely have changes made to them, among other things...We wanted to see how and what parts were needed to get it to work. I feel privelaged to have the opportunity to run them and act as a guinea pig. I certainly hope that they are produced...

As for handling, I previously ran this car brand new for a couple of weeks with the old arms and my previous Reedy setup. With the old setup the car felt comfortable. However, during the past month or two, the Tamiya America track has lost most of its traction due to rain and track prep that seems a bit half-hearted. Oh well, it's winter I guess...With the new arms and the DJ arms, the car felt very stable WITH steering and allowed me to attack the track even during low-bite conditions. Last weekend at Revelations with hi bite traction, it was also very stable and with some setup changes for more steering, it did some fast laptimes even though it felt slow in corners...Very easy to drive.

Speaking of easy to drive, I hope this one is just as easy...first time out tomorrow morning hehe

Here is the MS WC parts set. I wonder how the 1XA etc. blocks differ from the 1A etc. blocks. Anyone?

What springs should I use on the MS for SoCal? Will be my first time running at Socal. Also is anyone using the Ride Accord? How does it compare to the Mazda? I'm guessing a lot more steering at the expense of stablity.

Thanks

Hey there

You get these with the MS:

1 A (x2)
1 A (bridge)
1 B
1 C
1 D
1 X
1 D (bridge)

Marc's setup from the LRP race can be found at http://www.rczone.net under setups. That is with the old suspension though.

I used yellow springs all around on mine and it was a good starting point. I have only tried the Mazda 6 body, but I think I am going to switch over to a Losi alfa and see if that will free up the car like I want it to.
