Seems like a very nice guy and responded fast to my emails.

I contacted Jurgen over the weekend. This is not his full time job, he works as well and also his sons race so it sometimes takes a few days for him to reply but he will. His parts are first class I've used one of the EVOIII oneways for a year now with no problem.

i think the suspension was employed like rod said, lighter stiffer but more slop free, more tuning and so on

Also the evo 4 suspension on the TRF teams cars aint going to have any slop in it as
A its new and would get replaced if there was any slop,
B they are the tamiya factory team!

Funny that you should mention that. "Soon..." was the answer I was given. The white belts are supposed to provide a much more responsive throttle/brake feel. I really could have used them as they are probably good for a tenth or two but I'm J.V.

If the track was slick in the heat, more flex=more traction.
I have a set of low friction belts on the way.. but they are not "Tamiya" packaged. They are from Echo. Hopefully I'll have them by Friday and test them on Satuday.
As for rear uprights being plastic/composite, that's because if they used the new suspension arms... the old style should not fit or would make the rear end too wide. That's my guess... that or the aluminium ones would be heavy compared to the new style uprights...

Simple, Rainbow Ten.. haha. I was bored one day and had to order only a few things from Rainbow for a friend (Pro 4 arms, he can't get them anywhere stateside.. so I hooked him up). Anyways, I was looking for something for myself... browsing to see what little gimmicks they had. I checked out everything that said 415. I found a listed for 415 low friction belts from 5E. So I ordered them. They told me they were out of them but would glady substitute them for the Echo low friction belt set. So... naturally Duh.. I said Yes... hehe... I should have ordered 2 sets... only like 1239Ĩ....
