"REEDY RACE 2009"

Holy Moly, you guys are having "way too much fun" in here.
Glad to see it too. I'm very pleased to say that I'll be able joining you Yahoo's for the RROC 09' to help out Billy and Scotty with some of the duties of the race.
No, I'm probably not racing. RROC is not the place to learn how to drive again.......

Is Novak 13.5 old-style (smooth can) motor OK in Reedy?
I am using the old-style Novak 13.5 motor, the one that comes with smooth can. Can anyone tell me if I can use this motor in Reedy Race?

The Roadrunners RC Club will be hosting the Official Reedy Race of Champions (RROC) Southern California Warm-Up Race at the newly renovated and newly repaved facility in sunny Camarillo, CA on April 25th and 26th, 2009!
The Roadrunners track, compared to Speedworld Raceway where the 2009 RROC will be held, is the closest in size, traction, and ability to host such a large event in all of Southern California.
We have been working with Speedworld Raceway to ensure the Roadrunners duplicate the RROC as closely as possible. There will be three rounds of qualifying on Saturday the 25th followed by one round of qualifying and the mains on Sunday the 26th.
For this warm up race, we will only be running the three (3) classes specified by the RROC: 13.5, Open Modified, and now RCGT (these are all touring car classes). Tech rules and tire requirements will be the same as for the RROC. The tire specification will be announced soon. Entries will be limited to 200.
Pre-registration is required to attend this event and is available by clicking the Event Registration link at the top of the website. Keeping the racer in mind, the entry fees will be the same low price we always offer: $15/first class, $10/each additional class for non-club members, and $10/first class, $5/each additional class for club members.
Racers may enter multiple classes, but must designate one class as “Primary” on the registration form. If you win your Primary class, you will receive free entry to the 2009 RROC for that class, courtesy of the Roadrunners R/C Club!
Stay tuned for more details as the event approaches.
Sign up is easy and you don't have to pay until the day of the race. Click here to sign up on line. http://www.roadrunnersrc.com/?page_id=270
