Default Electronics

I have got my Cyclone S Kit and so now I need the electronics. I have already got my motor. The 540 motor and now all I need is the ESC and radio gear as I have located a good priced battery and charger.

Battery - http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8357

Charger - http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7028

I just need some recommendations of a good ESC for my level of racing and good radio gear that is not incredibly expensive.

Thanks in advance

For the ESC, I recommend an Mtroniks Tempo11 or RV11 depending on whether you want reverse. But it you want a speed controller that will be better from an adjustment point of view, I would go with an Mtroniks IP6 Sport or Mtroniks IP6 Pro.

Kind Regards,

Matt Smith

I think I am going to go with the Team Wave RB30 ESC.

http://feralbatteries.com.au/category.aspx?id=%2038.

Unless the ESC's you recommended have a close price to the RB30.

I don't know about Australia, but over here in NZ a Mtroniks Tempo11 will retail for $85 max. I don't know how much the RV11 retails for, but I think it should be around the same.

Take a look at the Castle SideWinder speedo In brushed mode they are killer and having the link to you computer makes it fun to make set up changes. Later if you want go to the Castle 4600kv BL motor.
