Default Take Off RP30, RP24, CS22 back in stock!

HUGE quantity of RP30s and more came in today. More than enough to fill all backorders and plenty plenty extra!

If you've got any on backorder (dealers or end users) expect a call/email today or tomorrow for shipping.

Dealers without any on backorder - we've got excellent quantities and can fill any new orders same-day.

We've got it straight from Take Off that the short supply issues will very soon become a thing of the past :-)

What happened to CS27?

Any word on whether or not the RP30's are back to their former glory?

CS27 has been, and still is in stock :-)

RP30's totally back in grip/wear yes, and for quite some time now. Quantities were seriously short over the summer/fall but still flowing all along. We've finally got to a place where we've got more sets in stock than backorders, and Take Off is saying it'll still get better from here

What track temps are RP30s designed for?

They got scarce for a while but you used to be able to by them EVERYWHERE. The CS27GL and RP30GL premounts were THE tires to run for years. The only reason anyone runs anything else now is that you couldn't get them for about a year.

Sometimes we are using cs22 on asphalt outside here in the uk, it has been around 0 degrees some race days....

If it gets much colder I will need some mini pins to break through the ice

Yeah, we race year round here in FL. CS22's are awesome for winter and night races. If the track surface gets much hotter than 80*F they get greasy feeling at the end of a run though. Then its CS27 or RP 30 time. Those have a huge temp range and can be run up to ~150*F surface temps. After that the RP36 is awesome until its to hot to go outside.

I have noticed that, indoors on low grip surfaces they can go off quite quickly if the hall I race in is warm, the back end goes loose, I suspect the sidewall is just not holding up well.

They wear quite well though outdoors when its cold, impressive considering they are a soft compound tyre

That's great I hope now the FSEARA will use the CS27's as a handout tire!
