Those driveshafts didnt exist back in the old days.
All touring car shafts bind at full lock without double joints.
i noticed this problem with my original rs4 back in the day.
Probably could fit another manufacturers shafts.

Thank you Ryan for your reply, and yes maybe there is somebody which knows which driveshaft I need for my project...

The major issue is the Pro2 (or all pre Pro3 RS4) use large 10x15? bearings on the inside of the knuckle, and as far as i know there is no DCJ driveshaft that would match that.

One way is to replace the steering knuckle with one where DCJ options exist. The other harder way is to make an adapter or bearing sleeve to convert the large bearing to a common 10x5x4 or 3mm bearing (or even a flanged bearing to ride on top of the large bearing?), then you still have the axle length to match.

Checkout Mcmastercarr for sleeves that might fit...They have every dimensions listed there...I have made lots of seemingly impossible projects a reality with their help....Good Luck....
