VTA MMR Club Spec Racing

3.7v 17.5 has proven to be some incredible racing and with ROAR adding it to the power sources we should even see more clubs looking this direction to get the vta speeds were they should be.
I have to say the corvettes are looking great in the mix.

For 2010-2011 we have added in the ROAR sprtsman speedo rule. This above all else allows almost every speedo to compete equally in the class, keeps speeds in check, and does not require additional expense to the racer.
We have seen increased growth in single cell vta racing over the past year with
incredible close racing and minimal broken cars.... So in other words the $ per fun is excellent...

Final lap VTA after 8 minutes the battle came to this
Another incredible season.. 46 local racers have played this winter.. club level makes this incredible and we have the youngest competetor at 8 and the oldest at 76.. all playing and racing... definatly the right combo of speed and durability.

Thanks a lot Andrew for posting this for all to see. I'm re-living that moment all over again.

2011-2012 is looking to be another stellar season of MMR Club Spec VTA. Speeds that all can handle and again some of the closest and greatest racing we see on our track. We will be pulling some of our local driver setups and get them posted so you can get some starting points.

2011-2012 season was incredible.
Over 70 different cars competed locally. Every weeknight club race had 15-20 cars and lots of new and old faces.
The Regional Championship series had over 30 cars on points races and the field got down to some intense racing from the A to the C mains.
Chassis choice has been all over the spectrum. We still see many tc3's 4's right in the mix with the tc5's tc6.1's xray coraly serpent chassis. The ho level keeps the speed in check but the car is still nimble and the dicing action on the track is great.
Summer 2012 is looking to be a blast with our local club group adding in a body option for some extra summer fun.
