Looks like some type of home built oval car. Lots of aftermarket parts, cells on the left, and the rear diff bulkheads look like they were cut on a band saw. Hey Ty, get my e mail about the motor?

Ya dude!

And I have no idea what kinda car it even started out as lol, looks like something I've never seen before. Chris is right about the bulkheads, they look custom.

This was from a time when racers were hardcore HOBBYISTS. No fancy CNC work, just good old fashioned ingenuity, a dremel, and elbow grease.

That is actually a Badger car. I think they made them in the early 90's.

Go to dirtoval.com, they should be able to get you more info there.

Yep, the tranny definately looks like a Badger. Hard to say about the rest of the car, as the Badger went through many revisions and design changes. They were all made by Rob Freyvogel, I think his name was. Raced a lot at the Mars, PA indoor clay oval, back in the 90's.

The only guy I know that would definitly know the origin of that car is Jim Deiter of Trintiy fame. By the looks of the Tekin ESC it is from the late 80's -early '90s (had one just like it). Jim was working in Quincy, IL at R&R Raceway and was a huge dirt oval stud. It could have been the very first Custom Works or Radiant car for all I know. Oh, and those 1200 SC's were all the rage then too.

Don't know much about dirt oval r/c or dirt oval for that matter, but that thing looks to have some wicked bumpsteer.

What's printed on the rear uprights/hubs?
