Team driver Salaries?

Team driver Salaries?
Do team drivers such as Kinwald actually receive a salary from companies like Losi? Or do they just get full sponsorship? I wonder how much they make?

they should get a salary-you wouldnt get me to dedicate all my time to practice and racing for a bunch of free motors and tee-shirts.

You are better off getting a real job. Sponsored drivers don't get a salary that's worth telling people. Their bosses that own the company make real money. Yea the drivers get parts, travel, and some elite get a salary. But keep in mind they share alot of things like rooms, limit on parts, only certain venues will the company pay for. And not only that, the time gone is sometimes not beneficial to a family. To top it off, you can get dropped if you can't keep up the performance. Not exactly what I call a secure job.

For young people, it must be the dream job. As you get older, start paying mortgage, plan for your kid's college, racing toy cars is not the way.

From what I heard and talking to a few drivers, that alot of the sponsored drivers' sallaries come from the drivers working for the company or companies that sponsor them, answering tech questions and working with the R&D teams to develop new parts and cars. Plus they act kinda like a salesman too in that they promote the companies products. So technically they have a real job just they get to race and get free stuff plus get to travel for free.
