Advice on traction rolling?

Ok I need to pick all your brains. How do you you get a car to stop traction rolling?

How about tightening your front suspension.

Your car is traction rolling because obviously you have too much bite.

What tires are you using and on what surface?

decrease your droop and/or triger finger...

Try shortening the front and/or rear camber links. This will let the car roll less deep into the corner.

Lay the shock down on the tower and add more front camber....stiffen the front sway bar.

Chrisgt2 10-08-2003 10:42 PM

Stiffer springs, roll bars, less compound, LESS camber, put some super glue along the outer edge of your front tires (12th scale trick)

Just a few suggestions

Limiting droop is the way to go ! It's very effective when it comes to traction rolling.

Just about everything mentioned sounds good. You might want to add harder tire inserts (if you're not using pre-mounts) to the list...:)

It's a much easier problem to solve then too little traction! All the above are good suggestions, th only other thing I can suggest is slow down round the corners:D

Ok we bombarded you... Just try one thing at a time... Don't do them all at once...

Advice on traction rolling?

Guys;

TOO MUCH traction and you're advicing him to SLOW down!!

STIFFEN the suspension up.

LOWER the chassis to the minimum that is allowed/acceptable.

REDUCE Droop at both ends.

LESS Rear Toe-in to loosen the Car up.

CHANGE to Harder Tire compounds (do this last).

BTW, you didn't state what kind of Car we are talking about.

LASTLY, slow down only as a last resort. :D

TOO MUCH traction and you're advicing him to SLOW down!!

You can only take a corner so fast... No matter how much traction you have you can only go so quick...

? Traction rolling ?

Is this when a car has so much lateral grip, that it actually flips over?

sosidge 10-09-2003 02:48 PM
