I have zero knowledge about this... But I assume of Amtx makes another shaft car motor mount it will be a different and evolved design
The Evo2/L2 cars were very low sales items, at least in the USA. I think maybe only 40-45 were sold. Thankfully the khaki A800 was an amazing follow up!

I just make a fast check and all of the parts of the AM73 series are now very hard to find. I was not able to source one on the web either.
On the main Awesomatix site there is just one AM73-1 and four AM73-4 left.
Like in the picture ou can try to make an hybrid with some RFG parts (AM81 + AM73-1 + AM70) but I don't think it's a good idea even if you use the 3 screws at the bottom of the AM73-1 there is nothing physically attached to the bulkhead except DT03 and it may create some tweak.
Or go full FFG and RFG I think there enough parts at the main Awesomatix site to create one kit!
More realistically if there's enough interest they may make one more batch of MM2.
Good luck!

New chassis ordered last week.
When waiting for it I designed a lowered P12X without the droop screw.
This is my first attempt to design and order from Shapeways and if the outcome is OK I will give the link for the part.
I am also considering an asymmetrical (left and right) version with the integrated droop screw but I am waiting for the chassis for the exact measurements.
If anyone already use their Brass casting services for RC parts please PM me.

I receive the new chassis today!
Dry fit is already done, to run high roll center with long arms some modification to the AM73-3 and the head of the screws are needed.
This version of chassis remind me a lot the original C01AL, flex is much stiffer than the S2 and if I am not mistaken it was also using a longer wheelbase like the last A800.
I already taken the measurements to make a lowered P12X with the droop screw. I am still waiting the first version from Shapeways to see if I am on a good path.
Thanks again Oleg for the new chassis.
Can I dream of a 10th anniversary A700 rerelease with all the last goodies for 2021?
Racing is nice but bench racing can also be interesting!

Could you elaborate more on the modification to the AM73-1? Thanks.

Hi Dan,
Sorry I correct the part number in my post. It's the AM73-3 that I shave 0.5mm on the rear section. I also removed some material on the top of the two screws for more clearance.
Don't touch the front section where the AM73-1 attach this need to be perfect to keep everything square.
This modification is only needed for high roll center with long arms.
Look at the attached picture for reference.

Look good
Just me ..I would countersink the AM73-3 for flat head screw instead of button head.. which give you more clearance

On the original part there is not a lot of meat but I already designed one for the next batch at Shapeways.

Is it that you try to less roll chassis

Hi OVA,
I don't have experience with long arms but the trend right now is to run high roll center to if I am not mistaken, regain some roll...for my initial setup I will try to transpose some setup sheets for the A800MMX.
I just want to see how high I can go especially in the rear...for me it's about 1.75mm with AT21ST-A balls.
Copying setup sheets is fine but ultimately it's my lap time and consistency that decide which setup change I made. Between you and me I have a bad tendency to only try to find the fastest lap time possible but habitually the car is difficult to drive
If I check my old A700 setup sheets on high grip with short arms I almost always run between -0.5mm (AT21s) and 0.5mm. I tried sometimes more but it's rare.
I am impatient to do some testing!
