We plan to produce the similar universal joints for other car brands also.
For what car it would be more demanded? What do you think? Xray? Yokomo? Tamiya?

I only tried the two center holes with screws. I had set screws everywhere else.

AM33-5 long stiffener with all extra holes is under manufacturing at the moment. We hope to get it within two weeks.

I recommend to use alloy soft chassis C01AL-S with C21 top deck and with fully screwed AM30-* or AM33-* stiffeners.

Xray for sure. Lots of people use that car and the stock pieces are very expensive and break easily.

Yokomo because they have a lot of breakage issues.

Tamiya actually has the best current DCJ's in my experience. Strong and very little maintenance.

Do any of these brands have c-hubs with an opening big enough to clear the new design? Looks like a great innovation either way. Excellent work!

Associated is another popular car in the US, not sure about Europe and Asia. May be worth looking at as well. This car's components are on the less expensive side but RC'ers do like to add after market parts if they think it will help regardless of price.

Drive shafts for other cars? Most other cars in require 5x10x4 bearing to not have them destroy themselves.

It is ironic - the very reason why the A700 cars are attractive is because it has unique features that make it difficult to copy and not a scalable product for other companies. Surely some others will copy and fail because of materials and execution.

As an upgrade for other cars - I think they would welcome it. There are many things that make the A700 deadly - the drivetrain is one of them.

I say tweak the A700 to get a couple more tenths faster than the field and then perhaps release upgrades for other cars. Maintain some competitive advantage.

All of the other conventional cars already share similar parts (swappable for some), materials and geometries. Collectively but unintentionally they are already working together to make their cars better.

The other cars could benefit from the durability/efficiency of the new axle design. Not sure from a numbers standpoint where the volume is brand vs. brand.

I would guess AE & XRAY in the US. Then Tamiya/Yok. Then perhaps HPI.

AE - could benefit the most, other good aftermarket upgrades already
Xray - already have an ECS upgrade - grade A; cost is high. Compared to my A700 old axles; the ECS can't compete on longevity or ease of use
Tamiya - already have a DCJ - grade A; cost is med/high; tough unit holds up well.
Yok - not sure what they use.

Curious to use the new design. My old units won't die
