Awesomatix EP Touring Car (A700 Shaft Drive)
#6841
Had to retire the A car today. just too many breakages. track was rough and my setup just would not work. could not be consistent with the car. had to go to my backup tc 6.1. my parts did not arrive in time to get them changed over. still waiting on the parts. managed to tq end ended up 2nd.
the a car just dont like the bumps on this track (rough at best) but with the hard springs and its current setup it was not happening. next race is back to smooth asphalt. and the car will shine. i did shorten up the links in one hole and it made things worse for me so im going to keep long links. i like how it works that way.

Yeah but they won't ship to Canada anymore. I've got local supplies but I was wondering about the spec of the screws in the kit and locating an exact match.
I've notice that Awesomatix.com carries the kit screws, I'll order them through there.

Suffered my first spool failure yesterday... drive teeth ring separated from the aluminum body. Was back up and running again in minutes with the help of CA glue and it held the rest of the day, but I have a pretty low degree of confidence in how long it's going to hold. Anyone have luck permanently reattaching these? Maybe JB-Weld? I don't have easy access to an actual welder.
Perhaps this would be a good candidate for enhancement/redesign in the future, seeing as this appears to just be a press-fit attachment. Possibly a grooved spline or simply welded together - since this does not appear to be a serviceable item?
