It was a club race, so traction was okay but not high bite, No top deck but running the carbon tube made for mod racing. I believe the 1st kits will come with a shaft for slower turn motors and then the modified shaft will be mailed out last I heard, this could have changed for production.

I was running a Reedy 5.0 Mach 2 timed @ 30 degrees and had no problem putting the power down, We use a spec Sweep 32 tire no as well.

Hope this helps.

It's good to hear the car is smooth and working well in 17.5. I was under the impression the FFG was intended more for mod than the slower classes. If it smooths out the corner exit that would be really great. I paired mine with the GD2. The build is progressing nicely. I'll get it on the track probably this weekend.
Yes, these backed off on my second run...I used locktight and they help firm for the rest of the day.

Hi,
I use the Carbon top deck only at really high grip carpet tracks.
It make the car more easy to drive under these conditions and more precise.

On outdoor asphalt tracks it was everytime better without our Carbon Topdeck!!

Best Regards
Max

Does anyone have a L chassis plate they would like to sell? Ran my EXL and love it but for my driving style I think the narrow chassis would be better in stock TC.

These backed out on me as well, I just put the five finger death grip on them and they were fine the rest of the day.

Default Spares

How much does Hanulec's recommended spares total roughly? I usually just buy two kits when I switch cars but that won't work with this kit!

you won't need much in spares....mostly just the parts Hanulec directed you to.

I have run mine for about 2 months...only parts so far
1 droop screw plastic insert
1 C clip
both completely my fault

get the hard bumper...and it's a tank.

does any one else remove the pinion and just spin the drivetrain for fun.

Thanks for the answers. I guess the carbon tube is a standard size so it could be replaced easily with aluminium or a thicker walled carbon or different layup with off the shelf tube stock for whatever application is needed.

So the car is what, 40g heavier?

From what I've read the EVO (without top deck) is ~8g heavier than the L.
