Hmm the info says a price of USD $100-$200 not yet confirmed. Seems inexpensive for a top level toruing car:cool:
|
read again, it says 100 - 200 MORE than the current class of TC.
|
I thought about doing the drive train this way a long time ago on my TC3. I could never find off the shelf bevel gears that would make it work correctly.

All the magic Still don`t got how the suspension works and on what it is based, but i dont care as long as it`s good. |

It wonder,... looking at the front suspention drawings it may be a rebound type suspension that is used in pan cars???
I do not know about the carbon fiber lower control arms either, snap snap. Steering looks like the TC3 system |

http://www.awesomatix.com/dampingsystem.html http://www.awesomatix.com/carsimages/damping/2small.jpg This car is definitely looking pretty interesting. As far as the shaft drive solution, I was thinking more on the lines of some sort of slipper effect. But this is really damn interesting. Now I can't wait to see this car in action. |
I would say the big yellow round thing is what they call a rotary dash pot, it will be doing the damping and the what looks like a coiled leaf spring will do the springing.
|
I dunno, this thing reminds me too much of how a leaf-spring type suspension would work. One thing I am not too crazy about these types of setup is how fast the dampening effect wears out. Furthermore, what if you get that one hard hit against a wall while racing.
I'm almost tempted to ask for a crash-test video. |
