Well Mr Chan you will find that all Bert mods are very simple...For example, the A700 stock axle(a13) has a thin hex measuring 2.44mm thick, and the wider optional part(a13W) has a hex size of 3.44mm...All that is needed is another axle with a much wider hex of 5mm-5.44mm to get the A700 trackwidth above 189mm....Very simple...I don't know why Oleg did not make the wider 5mm-5.44mm part, but I hope somebody else will step up and make one or I will just glue some 3mm thick hexes to the stock(a13) axles to get the same result...Unbelievable that a $1000 kit has no way to get close to 190mm trackwidth to stay competitive against xray, etc...The other cars can easily get close to 190mm and beyond with a change to a wider hex, including my tc4.2 bert edition...Why not the A700, A800, A800R, etc ??????? Come on Oleg, it is time to step up to the challenge....You are leaving alot of performance on the table....

1 Maybe you need to understand ,Oleg is the master of Awesomatix designer TC , So that what make Awesomatix so unique ,is not like any other brands alike

2 I am sure that Oleg get positive feed back from his Team drivers .
3 designing your own mod is great but you cant even keep your car around the track without hitting the boards.
4 please stop your non sense

OVA you are missing the point...My mods are not about putting me on the podium or not even for me not to hit the boards, they are intended to make certain setups(Wide trackwidth) possible and available to the better racers than Bert....Making the podium is not as necessary to me just as it's not Martin Hudy's main focus, yet he is never accused of nonsense for such a basic mod...$1000 car with no real trackwidth window is not acceptable, whether a team driver or Bert is trying to setup for a widetrack car !!!

Anything else?

Bert, do you really think that if any respected team driver really needed it, Oleg wouldn't have done it? Maybe they even have tried in internal testing and found it to be useless...

Even if it did not perform well per team drivers, it should have the option to reach 190mm just because other cheaper cars can.
Also, the wheel shims can only be used to the extent that the wheel hex depth allows, which is not much at all with the Gravity wheels(3.12mm deep)...Past 1.25mm wheel shims would not be recommended...
I am also doing the mods to compare it to the other means to widen the track, in addition to get further away from traction rolling in principle ,even if the car is not traction rolling at 186mm....To tell the truth, all the hex thicknesses(2.44mm/3.44mm/5mm-5.44mm)should have been available in the kit for the $1000 pricetag...

I did not want to mention this issue, which would be resolved with a 5mm-5.44mm hex, even if they sell them for alot of money...Huge market for these wider hexes $$$$$$$ Snowchains in Hawaii is very good thinking ahead: hey, you never know, specially for the $1k pricetag....
I will make my Mods, whether Mr. Chan or Dynotech Racing come up with their own , and good luck to all....That will be my Christmas Gift !!!

Those are way too cheap for me...I prefer my Mod...I had to shave a few 3.5mm yokomo hexes down to 3.05mm and glue them to the stock A700 axles for a total of 5.5mm hex, taking my trackwidth to 189.1mm or above....Only Bert...lol.....
