haha, yea I know my dad can be a road block sometimes but you have to admit, he is getting much better.

yes I run the stk tower up front...for carpet foam, or anything on carpet for that matter, I feel the stk tower gives the car a better feel to it.

Billy, it doesnt matter if your motors are off the shelf or hand tuned on your dyno lol! They are always faster than mine!

shh! maybe I can actually sneak some hp past him ok never mind actually my "Harper" 19 was pretty quick...ah, the cool things 38 degrees of timing on a 19t "not so spec anymore" can do for you

...dont worry, we dont run spec here...just 19 so outlaws are allowed

Hey WheelmanST-can you help a brother out? I built a 19t motor to test for the Birds with. Its an old D4 Mod can, 36 degrees timing with a C2 arm in it. Do you know what you rolled it out at your track? Also-what springs on motor? I'll be running on the Gates new 100' x 50" layout.

Brian,

I got an e-mail from your buddy about the Xray conversion.

Thanks,
Ray

Ray - I ran the stk gold springs on my reedy 19t. On yours try red and red. My track is quite a bit smaller...maybe 38x80 or so...I dont know the actual size. I ran a roll out of 1 flat. I gear the quads like mad! They like the heat.
Hope that helps...let me know if you need some more info.

Seth-thanks for the tip!! I've also got a Outlaw Epic 19t as well with Quad mags. but I swear my C2 at 24* was faster. Probably those worthless P94 brushes in it!!

Personally, I like C2's better...they can really pull some massive gearing! I will have some stk motor stuff figured out tonight.

well after tonights racing at trackside hobbies and did much better then i had done on sunday, i had tq for the first two heats of stock rubber with a 21 5:08 and had it taken from me by troy shear, but i ran 21laps the hole night and was top of c-main missing the B-main by 20 tenths i was first in the main till about 1:35 left and i got stuck and got passed but was on the leaders tail the rest of the race and almost had him every lap since i got into second but wopuld end up touching the island give up a lil space but other then that i was pulling moderate A-main lap timess trying to catch first....

my thanks to warpspeed and all the other guys that make this car so competetive..

Good Job Preston!

Brian: What chassis were you running? The 3.0mm or 2.5mm?

Happy New Year to Everyone!
