I have been told that they are expected in the UK before the end of the year. Not sure about the US or elsewhere, sorry.

It should also be possible to fit all new parts onto the current Cyclone 12.

No one has them yet but it shouldn't be too long before they're shipping - give it a few weeks.

Default Cyclone 12x

Rumoured te be available in dec 2008.
But as an earlier said ,up grade your exsisting car.
As far as i know the only difference on the new car is.
1.Axle is graphite
2.Front lowered blocks.
3.Shortened shock.

Any thing else Mr Trevor Coult.

I don't know for sure as I've not seen one yet! And I probably won't until I buy one.

But guessing:
1. Graphite axle plus clamping hub
2. Front lowered arms with pivot ball adjustment
3. Don't know if the shock shaft has been shortened or not, a Dremel fixes that anyway.
4. GRP front brace
5. 0.25mm rear ride height spacers
6. Might have various titanium nitride coated bits
7. New 4mm trail steering blocks with through axles (possibly Ti, not sure)

Definitely some of those things, maybe all. Maybe more.

You can see some of the parts at http://www.hpiracing.co.jp/contents/...tion/0811.html

This is for the first version, but did anybody find that the antenna mount had to be angles inbetween the servo and t-bar?

My HB 12X arrived this morning

I've gone through the manual and had a cursory look at the parts still in their bags and the differences I have found are as follows:

Carbon rear axle
Clamping left rear hub
0.5mm thick rear axle shims
ATC front T-bar mount (optional)
Lowered front arms with pivot ball adjustment
new steering blocks with 4mm trail
New threaded front axles
Full set of 0.25mm difference rear ride height adjusters
Titanium coated kingpins
Titanium coated front upper arm shafts
Titanium coated shock shaft (same length as before)
FRP front cross brace
A very stylish black box

I'd have to compare other parts to see if there's anything else that is difficult to notice, but I think these are all the changes.

Further details are on the HB Europe web site at http://www.hbeurope.com/kit.php?partNo=66260&lang=en. It is now available to buy in Europe. I don't know when it will be available in the US, sorry.

KO 949/951 and Futaba 9602 servos will fit but you need to either shave a bit off the front of the antenna mount or shim the servo forwards on it's mount slightly as the bodies of these servos are quite deep. These are both better solutions than angling the antenna mount as they keep everything central.

The Futaba 9650 will fit with no modifications.
