I understand how you want to have the battery setup, but that battery is not a 1 Cell battery which is used to race 12th scale. That's a 2 cell battery pack. If it wasn't a saddle pack, it would be what is normally used in 10th scale touring cars. You need a 1C (1 cell) lipo at 3.7V, not 2C at 7.4V.

Oh...no that will not work. The saddle pack stays together. I read this wrong the first time.

That should be fine. set it up like the picture in this same thread a few post back. I run mine that way also.

This Lipo pack seems to fit well. I used it for awhile and only had to position it so the plugs were to the rear. Easy way to get two packs since each is 3.7 and wired as saddle are 7.4.

As for the link version, possibly it will release in time for the Snowbirds.

Just in case anyone here may have missed it, Gavin at Speedzone has announced that his 1c 3.7v saddle pack will be arriving on Nov 18th.
