Here is my XII all done up and ready to go. Build was excellent and will see how she does against some 13.5s this weekend.

eddie m.

THe mroe I look at those orange GQ rims, the more they grow on me. Can yopu tell me if they're big sized like high rollers and pro-38's. or are they smaller, like the older style wheels?

thanks

The rear wheel is smaller then jaco prism wheel. I think it is about the same size as the old jaco rear wheel but I am not 100% sure as I don't have old jaco with old rim.

I just posted my set-up from a local club race. I have 2 race weekends on it now but have mostly focused on different tire combinations. It is very good out of the box although I may try moving the tweak screws to the rear holes.

So a question for those that have this car, how do you like/dislike the center shock? In the pics I've seen the shock is mounted with what in a touring car is the top of the shock pointing down. Has this presented any leaking issues for anyone? I'm thinking about getting/trying the shock for another car.

Thanks
Chris

So far the shock has been great...smooth and no leaks. One thing to think about is that the springs are not your standard 1/12 size.

I've haven't had a problem with shock leaking. Serpent shock is mounted the same way as XII. You just have to watch how the assembly of the shock, not to screw on the cap by cross threading, and not to over torquing the cap onto the membrane. Could distort the membrane. When it bottoms out, another 1/8th turn is enough.

Well, I was a little critical of the car and it's WGT brother when it was shown.

Rather than just gripe, I built one today. Everything may resemble something else, but that's all it does, "resemble it". Things have been improved and re-worked, and the xray quality is in there.

It's a slick little car. The build changed my opinion.

If you've been on the fence, pick one up. There's some nice stuff going on there.
