Another very good low-profile servo that is even faster than the 2413 ICS is the Team Orion VDS-1009. The Orion has 139 oz/in of torque and best of all it's only $80.

Default ALU shocks

Does anyone have experience using the ALU shocks of a Serpent S400 on a 009?

Does anyone know if ip3800 (intellect) lipo's fit the 009 without the lipo graphite spacers?

also does this car have a built in servo saver?

I have an 009 on its way, and im hanging to know.

Hi Paul,

The ib3800 lipos fit no problems whatsoever without the lipo spacer kit that comes with the 009. It clears it with plenty of room to spare.

And yes the 009 has a servo saver (comes semi assembled).

Hope that helps.
