Yeah i've seen this on LRP motors, again without hitting anything. The whole motor was sent back to the distributor and replaced free of charge.

Yep

A mate lent me a LRP 6.5...that did the same thing

Then his 10.5 did the same

I could see an airbubble in the shaft, where the shaft isnt correctly made

Bad batch of rotors.......LRP should sort this soon though.

saw the magnet come off of the entire shaft on a Novak 10.5 last week...magnet would spin when you gave it power, but the shaft wouldn't spin at all

I've had a VXL motor shatter the magnets and a Castle Creations motor snap on the pinion shaft. So yes it happens.

The earlier LRP 4.5's were bad for this,

LRP wouldnt acknowledge the issue but would replace free of charge

I have had the same problem with Nosram motors as LRP( 3 rotors broken at the pinion end), but only with the standard rotor, now I use the 12.5mm rotor and I have not seen the problem after this.

whats the normal rotor size for a nosram 3.5.
Is it fine if i change the timing.
How many more kv will the motor give if i had 1 timing i.e timing 3 instead of 2.
how more kv ??

I had a Novak 13.5 have it's rotor come unglued. THe shaft would just spin. Haven't had the chance to send it to Novak yet.

I also have this problem. Can I glue the shaft to magnet with instant glue?
