F103 Anni is evil on foams

How about the 104W GP? Or is the shorter wheelbase better?

For the chassis kit for carpet, like he said and the tires that come with that 15th Anniversary rocket are also the tires to have, also known as Tamiya "pre assembled". Part numbers escape me right now as does the price but they aint cheap.
Part numbers for the donuts that perform very, very closely to the "pre assembled" Tamiya combo are Tamiya 84095 and 84096 and are much more reasonably priced even combined with a fresh set of wheels to go with them.
I've had my best days on carpet and asphalt with both of these options.

Mine is actually an F103RM (with several options needed/added) which comes with FRP chassis (fiberglass, thin/flexible) and short upper deck which rocks for extra grip on asphalt and is still good on carpet but for carpet specific the 15th anniversary with carbon fiber chassis (thicker/stiffer), long upper deck, all the aluminum tricks, wheels and tires of choice etc...all in one kit is still ideal.

So I have an F1R with the steering bell crank and every low friction option Tamiya part you can get. Would it be any good in a wide setup on foam? Just trying not to buy another F1 if I don't have to right now. Not that I don't WANT to. It's just that I'm adding a VTA car as well.

Can someone please tell me the benefits of using a trailing steering block setup ?

Would I be right that trail would promote more aggressive steering response ?

No way! I love my F1R on rubber. I dont think I'll ever sell it. When its retired she'll go on the shelf with her trophies behind her to bask in all her glory.

I ran my F1R wide and it was good. But never tried foams with it.

I have no doubt that the F1R will shred any track it hits on foams and widened.
It's highly tuneable so why not.

The opposite, it will mellow the car out. Inline will make the car twitchy.

Isn't "trail" another term for Caster ?

You sure man? I would give you $50 paypal. I'm looking for one now, but it appears everyone loves them so much they can't get rid of them.
