Sticker on the box says diffs are made out of Swiss 7075 aluminum, but diffs are made by Xray. Like Paul said, all parts are produced at the factory, they even bought their own hard-coating line because they weren't happy with outside vendor that was doing it for them before. I had an opportunity to visit the place couple of years ago, Martin took me around the factory, all I can say it was a jaw-dropping experience. These guys are obsessed with quality, and invested good amount of resources to produce everything in house so they don't have to rely on any outside suppliers...

In my opinion Xray should reintroduce T2R again because it was awesome for that price.

You nailed it.

now that you mention it, i always wonder if corally C4 was designed by Juraj Hudy as well prior to establishment of Xray? because the T1 looked awfully similar to it....

There are ways to report companies that are producing copies like this. Here's a link to the US site and there are similar government departments in Europe (and the rest of the world).

http://www.usitc.gov/trade_remedy/int_prop/index.htm

It's not always easy but if the company doing the copies is producing any part on the car with a Xray logo or using anything proprietary they're hozed.

On this one he didn't have the nerve of putting M18 on it.

There are a lot of other options for different budget racers from reputable companies... TC5, Tamiya, etc.......

not only is this seller selling counterfeit r/c's but if you look at the neg. on his feedback he apears to be selling counterfeit firearms gear.Just look at the items the buyer has on his feedback,90% are for munitions equipment.scopes lazer sights etc.

Apparently, Xray are ''investigating'' the car.

I.e, sharpening their laywer's teeth for war.

I just contacted the seller and asked since the car came with the hudy spring steel drive shafts and an authenticity certificate, and xray grease and accessories if it was an xray car. cant wait to see what his answer is!

If anyone's interested I still have a NIB T2R that I'll sell for 200 shipped
Still a better car than that cheap copy.

And I thought the same thing about XRay's T1 and the Corally C4, I think Hudy and Serpent had something to do with the design. When a friend of mine had a C4 the plastic parts would have the Serpent emblem on them with Corally packaging.
