i dont own a tc5, i dont even race onroad, but this is a sweet product. i love the idea of leaving the screw holes uncovered. that is what i always wondered about the protector sheets, how the heck do you fix anything. granted, a loose screw could fall out but that is user error. if you make one for an academy sbv2 i would be all over it. hah. bump for a nice product

Questions??

Wouldn't you have to run an extra 6mm of ride height to use this?

6 mil not 6 mm. 6 mil I believe is 0.1524 mm.

Did anyone ask for a Losi Type R chassis yet?

*Update* The film is 7mil itself, considered 8mil with backing.

MIL=Unit of length for 1/1000 of an inch (.001”). Used in expressing thickness of films. 1 MIL = 25 microns.

When I looked last week I think they were $28 shipped on ebay. I think closer to $20 and they would sell a lot better.

I hope down the road I will be able to bring the cost down but I still feel its a pretty good value since you get two chassis protectors for $20. Biggest cost for me right know is setting patterns, plotter time, E-Bay fees and the urethane film, which is not cheap stuff.

Thank you guys for your feedback and hope to have Mi3 listed this evening
