Drifting with electric?
How come almost every video I see of drifting is with electric cars? Is it because nitro is heading out?

Theres just more control at the slower speeds with electric. You can totally drift with Nitro, but its going to be a faster drift. Usually you need more traction to get the right look when you drift with nitro.

nitro motors also tend to overheat while drifting (slower speeds with less air over the head as compared to normall). you cam do it, but only for a few minutes at a time. not to mention the better controll with electric.

maybe i will turn my nitro into a land rocket and then save up for the electric drift....I just like the sound of nitro....electric is to quiet for me!

The biggest reason you see more electric is because electric motors have 100% torque at 0rpm (theoretically) where as the nitro motors being 2stroke have a peeky power band and have a very small torque area
