lesson of the day: make sure your caps dont cross wires
or, another lesson of the day: make sure you insulate your bare wires.

The switch looks like a larger version of the current one. My guess is that the touch button is on the side out of view, and the slider switch on the side is to change mode or something like that. Looks a bit bulky though!!!

Fifth in the Invitational class. I was tied for second at the end of saturday with chris tosolini and kyle skidmore, all one point behind barry baker, then on sunday, as the comm. on my only 8x1 grew smaller, the light brush springs allowed for some "bursh hopping", thus creating a lot of excess arching and over heating the comm and brushes every run. So considering that I would drop to about half power half way through each run on sunday, I did all right.

VFS-2000J haven't even used it yet and it's out of date

I'm feeling alittle cheated at the moment as news of this product only started showing up in the last few days really and i ordered the new 2000J about 3 weeksa ago

Whats the inside word on the extra new programable bits with the VFS-1 then ??

Never mind maybe i still got the best speedo while we await the VFS-1 ??

actually the VFS-2000J has been out for sometime now but only in japan. as you know.. we here in the states get stuff pretty late when it comes to stuff in japan.

even after the VFS-1 and VFS-2 comes out.. the 2000J will still be a top of the line esc. dont worry, your still in good hands.

I am haveing trouble with the VFS software. I just got a old 486dx2 Laptop and the screen resolution is only 640x480 I cant see the whole program. I can only see the top half. Any one know how to fix this? I cant change the resolution on the laptop to any thing else.

I am guessing that you cannot go any higher than 640x480 right?

THanks man.
But if i am able to choose, which one should i get?
VFS2000/J or VFS 1?
Headache man ... when will it end?

depends on how long you wanna wait.. the new Ko escs arent due out until the end of the year..and thats for the United States. i dont know when they'll release it in asia.

if you cant wait.. pick up a VFS-2000J with a programmer. you should be okay. even after the VFS-1 and VFS-2 comes out, the VFS-2000 will still be a high end esc. i have three VFS escs for my cars..and they're all great. can't go wrong with them.

robert.. do you know yet if the current programmer will be compatible with the new VFS line of escs?
