Default 4 turn brushless lrp or speed passion?

Hi there,
i have decided to buy second motor alternative for my lrp 3.0 turn brushless.
i am using it with lrp tc comp esc. actually i am very satisfied with lrp 3.0 but when speed passion announced ver 2.0 motors, i took a look to sp.
my questions are:
1- is speed passion weight less than lrp and how much?
2- lrp is closed in all parts but sp is open, one of my colleagues had problem with vortex when motor gets a stone inside in the track. what do you think of sp?
