Hello, this might be a dumb question but I just got a orion 3800 lipo but I need a deans-to-bullet connector since I run a deans setup......Is there anyway I can buy it put together already, I'm a terrible solderer, any help would be appriciated.

thanks

I dont think there is anything wrong with them seeing Josh Holstein(Rubber National Champion),Jason Schreffler(Multi Snowbirds National Champion),Larry Fairtrace(2008 Reedy Race Champion) and other top touring drivers wheeling those 3800 packs.....

I would buy the stuff and have a racing buddy help you with it. Soldering is fun once you get the hang of it. Practice on some junk motors and connectors for a while. It's a skill your gonna have to have to do this stuff.

You can buy them but building one is way better.

Your local hobby shop can solder you a better, and shorter one or buy what you need and have someone at your track do it.

I wasn't so lucky with all the lipos i ran so far not even with the Trakpower.I have ran 4 packs and i noticed a drop in performance in all 4 packs after 15 cycles. At this point i have to tell that Trakpower in UK has an excellent customer service and they replaced me all four packs. But i can't do this all the time.I have ran too the Yeah side by side with the Trakpower and in my case the Yeah was faster with a decent runtime of 6mins.I don't think that all these lipos i have run are garbage but i cannot figure out what could be the reason. The only possible reason could be my charger but i have no evidence that is not working properly. If anybody has an idea please let me know.

Time to say good-bye to my Trinity 3800 lipo packs. In two days i melted the positive female poles in both packs.I opened the hard cases and i saw the worst soldering work i have ever seen. These packs suppose to be 25C rated so melting a pole with my Mamba max 7700 with very conservative gearing isn't normal. They sould use better quality female bullet connectors and better soldering or cables insted of bullets. And for last just one question.I charge these 3800 lipo on 1C (with or without balancer) the charging stops when the pack gets full capacity 3800mAh and it's still on cc.It can't pass to cv charging mode and the voltage after charging is about 8.15v so i have to recharge it again and only in this way i can get the 8.4v and continue in cv mode until fully charge. In this second charge the pack is taking 350-400mA more. Why this happens? It's a 3800mAh pack or 4200mAh? According this i assume it's a 4200 mAh.Or im wrong?

Sorry to hear that. I've run mine with my MM7700 in mod about 8 runs no problems yet. I have seen evidence of what your saying though. I've seen 2 different people short the Trinity pack out by touching the positive to the neg by accident. Battery was dead / toast in both cases. I did this once on my Orion before I painted the red on pos. and it did nothing to the battery besides a zap spark...still charges and works fine.

That is surprising. I've seen a lot of the Orion's blow the fuse when shorting out.

That is very surprising indeed, I did that once with my Trinity 3800 and it
still works fine. You just have to be very careful with any batteries as it
says in the manual.
Well, I have both the Orion 3800 30C and the Trinity 3800 25C and I'm
just enjoying the performance of both to my Trinity 10.5 Brushless!

I didn't touched the positive to the negative by accident.Just melted the positive bulet during run after 4mins and this happened because of bad soldering job and bad quality bulets.
