cyclone speed

I have a cyclone moor speed and a novak GTB and before i bought my 4.5 turn brushless motor i had a LRP V10 spec 4 brushed motor 9turn and some LRP vtec 4200 batteries and they never lasted more then 2 minutes but the motor was always smelling smoke, and it was very very very hot and wont to now that my batteries did they last only 2 minutes because the batteries are damaged or beacause my motor was broken

ahh me to help again

could be 2 things

- your batteries are stuffed

- the motor has a black comm and hasnt been cut and brushes are worn out.

rip apart your motor,

if its all black, well, the motor is toast.

the brushes are bad as well if this has happened.

Your batts on the other hand are probably fine, it just seemed like they were short on run time because the ineffiencincies (sp?) of the motor due to overheating which probably means the motor is over geared or ran too long w/o a comm cut and a brush change.

so you guys think its because of the motor that the batteries dont last long because my motor is half toasted and half black and my batteries are only 4 month old and yes the motors comm is black but i dont now if its the motors probleme or my batteries that are damaged because my lrp vtec 4200 only last 2 minutes on this motor and my team orion SHO last only 4 minutes on the same motor i hope its my motor that is broken not my batteries
