Question that I haven't found an answer to. Do they make rubber tires for a pan car 200 mm like the 10r5. Thanks

Default Spur and pinion

I need to know on what is the largest spur and the smaller pinion that can be fitted to the 10r5. I have checked the assemnbly drawing and the motor mount is the same as the one used in 12r5. Which makes me think, there is not much space to fit in big spur

The question is, is the motor mount from the 10R5/12R5 any different in dimension then the older 10L2/12L4? On the old motormount the largest spur is something around 90T/48DP, pinion should be about 15-16T. Maybe you also could use a 93T spur and a 12-13T pinion but I think this makes no sense as a spur this large will be damaged very easy when using tires with small diameter. Actually I never have used a spur larger then 87T.

Do these use the same center springs as the Oval cars or do I gotta buy new springs?

The center shock on the 10R5 uses the micro VCS springs, same as side shocks in oval.

on road noob here,

anywhere a pan car novice could find a tuning guide for this car, or any in general, to learn what changes do what? or what changes to try to get a car to do this or that?

for the gt corvette body, do you guys cut the rear of the body out or leave all there?

I'd check out the 12th scale forum and search. The WGT cars respond similarly to 12th scales in set up.

I think the rules state you must leave the back of the body on it or so many mm from the truck lid anyways.....of course those are the vegas WGT rules. Other series may not have the same rules.
