Punching Hole
Dear All,
Sorry to trouble you all but I would like to ask... How do you punch hole on a body shell? (I know, its a noob question)....
Reason I ask is 'cos I have such a hard time doing this.

if you heard of em its just a piece of metal thats sharp and shaped like a cone and you just make the hole with it.http://www.rcplanet.com/v/vspfiles/photos/ASC1593-2.jpg

Although, if you are very careful, you can use a hobby knife to make a hole, then an old big X head screwdriver to ream/stretch the plastic big enough for a body post or transponder mount hole

Ideally, you need something like this:

I have a reamer but is there a way to use it better? I take like 'hours' just to make the hole with it and always not sure if it is punched correctly!

Ive never found an easy way to get it all right, just take your time. Anyone else out there got a better way?
as for actually using the reamer, hold it UBER straight on the point you need it and use a small block of wood or something underneath to put the pressure onto, making sure both the shell and wood are flat. The angles are a killer sometimes and make the reamer slip....

if your body is already painted just take some small dabs of peanut butter and put on top of your body posts. then set the body down carefully the way it should sit and push lightly onto the body posts. pull body straight off and take a small drill bit and drill in the center of your peanut butter mark. use your reamer to open the holes up gradually to the right size. Slightly bigger then the post. Poof your done. shoudl take you about 15 min to do 4 body post holes....o yeah and rememebr to clean the left over peanut butter off the posts
If your body is clear do as already said. set body on chassis and mark holes with sharpie then drill them, then ream them.
