I would prefer to run the motor at zero timing but yesterday I was running a Duo 1 with the timing in the middle. I had many people helping and trying but no matter what we changed it was hot. The track is 100 feet long lots of turns longest straight is prolly 30 feet. If anyone could send me a good starting point I am going to practice today so I will install the changes.
Thanks.
What motor type and car type? 17.5? TC?

Sitting trackside and after practicing and running 1 round of qualifying all I can say is FUN,FUN,FUN. I myself am slightly off pace (car set up) but the speedo settings are fun to play with. gearing, turbo, and rpm settings seem to be what everyone is mostly playing with. My boy "TEAM PINK" is TQ and geared 5.6 while others who are fast are at 6.4 That's a huge difference but everyone has different driving styles and car set up's. They are only taking the top 7 into the A-main so I have to step it up to make it. You guys should see all the Tekins being run out here.

I'm running a LRP X11 10,5T and I'm now geared 7,4 but I gear next time a bit lighter and change some RPM settings and set my Boost a bit higher with some more Turbo.

This is what I have now.
Boost 45-50
Turbo 5
Turbo delay 0,3
Turbo ramp 3
Gearing 7,4FDR
Start RPM 2700
End RPM 9000

Next setup what I will try.
Boost 50-55
Turbo 10
Turbo delay 0,3-0,4
Turbo ramp 2-3
Gearing 7,8-8FDR
Start RPM 2000
End RPM 10000

The first setups works good. Good acceleration and still good to drive.
Better acceleration and a higher top speed but you can still go around the corner. Turbo comes in very smooth.
The second I hope to get some more power in the infield.
Top speed will be lowered to the same as above. I must try some setups with the Turbo.

I heard today that there will be some of the new LRP speedos at the Snowbirds race this week. It will interesting to see if they can keep up.

These are the 10.5 settings that really brought my Xray T3 US to life:

drag: 10
TP: 3
Boost 50
Turbo: 0
Delay na
Ramp: na
Start: 4200
End: 10000
FDR: 7,25 (25,55mm roll out)
Motor: Tekin 10.5, 5deg motor timing

This is on a 25x10m carpet track with one 20m straight.
Good rip in the tight sections and screaming fast on the straights.

I will try this setup. I have a Tekin 10,5T motor but it's not allowed ad the races in Belgium but by the practice I will try it one time.

Im running 13.5 LRP X-12 Motor (4 dot timing)
drag brake off
brake strength 100
limiter off
neutral width 5
voltage cutoff 2
motor type 1
throttle profile 5
timing boost 48
turbo boost 8
start RPM 4700?
End RPM 10000
Turbo ramp rate .2
final gearing 7.98

I have to much rip coming out of turns. Any idea how I can calm my motor down??? besides using my finger to control throttle. Any help would be much appreciated.

Back your throttle profile down to 3 or lower. That might help a bit.

Raise your end RPM. (14000 - 18000) It will help smooth out the rate at which the boost is applied.
