Factory timing for SP V3 11.5T
Hi. Does anyone know the stock factory internal timing for the Speed Passion V3 11.5T motors? ie when the endbell is at the centre position. Thanks.

Well,
Did my debut with Tekin on the 13.5 Brushless class (2S lipo) Touring onroad 1/10 yesterday.
The track i raced its kinda big for 13.5, we race a national championship consisting on 17 races over the whole year (yeah, long champ.) and you eliminate your 2 worst results. Layout its changed every 4 races, with extra layout for last stage.
This is the layout i raced yesterday :
Second race i will miss it due to Job assignment.
Back straight its 198 feet long.
My equipment :
Car : Team Magic E4RS2009
Tires : Rubber Alpha RC - Hard1 Compound
Batteries : 5.200mah H-Energy ROAR Lipo 7.4v 2S pack
Body : Mazda 6 Speed
ESC : Tekin RS PRO
Motor : Tekin 13,5 Redline
FDR : 5,75
ESC Programming (v203) :
Motor : BL-FW
REV. Strength : OFF
Drag Brake : OFF
Throttle Profile : 1
Timing Boost : 30
Turbo : MAX
Delay : 0,8
Turbo Ramp : 2,0
Start RPM : 4.812
End RPM : 13.570
Qualified 2nd position, but on final rounds i got problems with my receiver after a hit from another car, so ended 4th place on A-Main, very happy with performance of the car and motor/ESC as clearly i was one of the fastest on track (winner was Tekin, second place Tekin, third place LRP).
Next race for me, February 7th.

OK really looking for peoples comments good or bad on the following setup
This was the 1st time I got to use this speedo with version 203 and at a good sized track
I use a Speed Passion ver.3 13.5 in a 2S Touring Car geared at 5.00 overall (track size was 30m x 16m)
Ambient air temp was 8 deg c, and the motor was coming off after 5 mins at about 70
Drag Brake - 25 (Looking to increase)
Brake - 95 (looking to increase)
Neutral width - 5
Profile - 3
Timing Boost - 50
Turbo Boost - 15
Turbo Delay - 0.2
End RPM - 7800
Start RPM - 2527
Turbo Ramp - 2
The car was a missile in a straight line but I could do with a little more power out of the turns can anybody suggest what to do next
Please any feedback welcome

I found a low delay made the motor run a bit hotter than necessary. Only need the turbo for a very long straight there is plenty rip in the infield.
I folowed Randy's advise and got a good setup with out turbo before making use of it.
I havent gone below .6 on delay and its really fast.

Indoor you don't need the Turbo.
The Boost is fast enough. The new boost has more timing than the V200 with the Turbo so it can handle the straight.
Also with the new software you are on the end of the straight before you blink your eyes!!!!

Don't lower your boost at all, but rather up your end rpm to 18000 and give it a try. With the end rpm at 13000 you are at 50 degrees of boost when your car is only at half speed. You keep pulling down the straight because you have the right high end rpm timing, but its just coming in too fast leaving you with weak low end.

I updated the RS / HotWire doc at http://rcfaq.weebly.com/tekin-rs--hotwire.html .
This version improves the description of the installation issues related to boosters for 1S lipos and documents the "peek a boo" behavior of the Current Limiter slider, among other changes.
BTW, Word can compare documents and 'redline' the differences, making it easy to read just what's changed if you have the old version on hand; there's a 'go to next change' commmand for stepping through. In the current Word (2007) these functions are under the "Review" tab on the ribbon.

I was playing with the RPMs in the week end race and to be honest I do not see the way forward.
The track is 40 x 20 meters and is around 150 m long, which means it is a fast, flowing carpet track. One lap takes around 13-14 sec.
Car is 1:12 with 1S and 10,5T.
I started with Randy's 2000-7000 recommendation and 40 boost. Turbo was 10 and 0,8 with 1 ramp (I kept the turbo setting fixed in the day). I increase the RPMs to 4000-8500 and 5400-8500. The median lap time improved a bit, but I feel there must be some improvement here.
Today calculated the average RPM of a lap which is 8600 (my roll out was 74 mm). I remember someone some time ago wrote here that the start RPM should be around the average RPM (if I remember right). If so, I should further increase the start RPM and maybe less increase the end RPM. Any comment on this?
The top RPM of the 10,5 motor with 1S should be around 12000. However the boost and turbo will change this. How much 40 boost would add to the top RPM?
