Will teakin add progressive timing to the ESC?
Example, I set max sofeware timing at 60% The starts the timing at a lower value and advances the timing to the max set point as the RPM increases. This feature would be good for fine tuning a motor to a track that is technical. Should make the motor more efficient or powerful through the whole RPM range for stronger finishes at the end of the race. The timing progression could have 5 values: two for NegativeExpo, One for Linear, Two more for Positive Expo.
I don't know how to base the timing progression but RPM comes to mind first, but that will require inputing the max rpm of the motor by the use into the ESC. If that is complicated, just make the timing based on the Throttle and Elasped time. The elsaped time helps smooth out the timing progression as the car accelerates from lower RPM if the Racer just hammers down each time.

Finally got my RS PRO delivered... Still hesistating & biting fingers whether to open the clear pvc box before re-selling it.... Once it open, its considered 2nd-hand...
Just didnt like the idea of bringing a laptop to the track....
However, noticed the ESC has a split casing as it is not closed properly between the receiver cable rubber seal & the B- pole side....

What's the reason for reselling it Mark?
I am looking into a new brushless/brushed esc and the Tekin RS (non pro) is one of my choices.
We only race 17.5/27t ROAR stock motors and I do o.k. now with a Novak XBR so even though the RS is not the Pro it is still an upgrade from my XBR!!!
And I figure it would allow me to get a Hotwire along with the RS
Is there a really big difference in performance between the RS and RS Pro

The speedo can be programmed without the Hotwire. the Hotwire just gives you a visual of the adjustments you are making.
I think they explained earlier that the software is the same between the two models. The pro model has 48 fets and the non-pro only has 24 which is why it can't run the lower turn mods.
