208 fixes every complaint I ever had. Perfection at last. Thanks for all the hard work.

RedBullFiXX 07-23-2010 09:34 AM

Yes, and the Netbook view is a major bonus.
Good on ya Tekin !

Randy, can we get to C2 profile using the pit mode that way we can have a mild or wild setup at the push of a button.

Randy_Pike 07-23-2010 09:39 AM

Yup!

C2 is going to be led 7 on the RS interface

C1 is Led 6

NOTE: YOU MUST USE 208/5.0 HOTWIRE EQUIPPED COMPUTER TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMETNS TO 208.

USING AN OLDER VERSION CAN RENDER THE UNIT INOP OR GIVE IT ERRATIC OPERATION.

You'll notice that once you plug in a RS it automatically updates the esc, we do this for the reason above.

I'm running tekin redline 17.5 in sedan with a tekin rs

What setting for the llimiter? trying to go as fast as possible lots of fast cars in the class, btw we run 6mins

does the limiter help with heat?

thanks
in advance.

Try 90! This was another one of our improvements in the long list. I'd be nobody notices the limiter on 90 and it will help create a cooler running setup and overall faster laptimes.

I'm running my 13.5 and stock class cars at 85 now.

i also get the (cant go back to old version) only has 208.and i am on a new laptop with W7 64

So is there any difference in setting up the car now? I am specifically interested if gearing is going to be affected as it was when 204 came out.

20 SMOKE 07-23-2010 10:02 AM

and just a heads up if you use the C1 and C2 profiles you have to do each one at a time and save one at a time.meaning set all your rpm and timing and save, then got to next profile set rpm and timing and save,it took me a couple of tries to figure it out.

Randy, hats off to all the techies in the back stuffed away in there hobbit holes working away, very nice on 208

if you go back a few pages they said setup was the same but was faster do to a smother throttle

Randy-
I just downloaded the new software and under C1 setting If I'm running Spec class my Timing advance should be at minimum? My dashboard is showing 0 Boost & 0 Turbo.
Thx!
John

Just my luck. I blew up my RS on Wednesday and have wait for replacement before I can play with 208. For the next fix/upgrade can we have reverse polarity protection?
